Engineering leadership shaped by real-world experience.
I’m Becky Simmons, an enterprise engineering and technology leader who helps teams bring more clarity, consistency, and structure to complex technical environments. My work spans engineering leadership, platform strategy, governance, delivery, and enterprise Salesforce ecosystems.
My background
My career has focused on building and leading enterprise engineering teams across software development, architecture, and commerce technology. I’ve worked across both hands-on software development roles and technical leadership, which shapes how I approach delivery, platform health, organizational design, and long-term sustainability.
I’m especially interested in the point where engineering and business decisions meet: how teams prioritize technical debt, create effective governance, scale operating models, and improve delivery without adding unnecessary bureaucracy.
I hold an MBA and multiple Salesforce certifications across administration, development, architecture, commerce, and AI. I’ve also spoken at multiple Salesforce conferences, including Dreamforce, on practical lessons from enterprise technology and leadership.
Engineering Leadership Toolkits grew out of that experience. The goal is simple: give leaders practical ways to assess what’s working, uncover risk or friction, and move forward with a clearer path.
